Dental Hygiene Tips!

1) Charcoal

Brushing your teeth with activated charcoal can result in whiter teeth. It is a naturally occuring substance that can be bought at any store! It is a way to keep your pearly whites without spending too much money!

2) Sea Salt Rinse

Rinsing your teeth with a sea salt rinse has many benefits for your teeth. It is natural way to relieve tooth aches. By rinsing twice a day, you can slowly relieve your toothache because it is an antiseptic. Sea Salt rinse also temporarily increases the pH in your mouth, which halts the growth of bacteria in your mouth.

3) Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide also has many uses for the mouth. If you make a hydrogen peroxide rinse with 50% hydrogen peroxide and 50% water it cleanses the gums and teeth! It can relieve mouth irritations including cold sores and even gingivitis. It can also be used as a mouthwash if diluted, and it helps whiten teeth!

4) Brush after every meal if possible

Waiting one hour after every meal is the ideal time to brush your teeth. Brushing after every meal will help diminish bacteria.

5) Drink coffee and wine out of a straw

By using a straw, the coffee and wine do not have the opportunity to stain your teeth. This way you keep the whiteness of your teeth for longer.

6) Floss everyday

Flossing everyday reduces the risk of gingivitis and keeps your teeth and gums healthy.
