Dr. Deepak Dugar, celebrity rhinoplasty surgeon, was interviewed by the Brazilian Television Channel, Domingo Espetacular, where he talks about the controversy generated by AI-generated avatars in offices.
Dr. Deepak Dugar, a closed Scarless Nose™ plastic surgeon, recently sat down for an interview with the Brazilian TV channel Domingo Espetacular. During the interview, he was asked about the recent controversy surrounding the use of AI-generated avatars in offices.
AI-generated avatars, which are virtual representations of a person, have been generating buzz in the business world, with some companies using them for remote meetings and presentations. However, the use of these avatars has also generated controversy, with some people questioning their authenticity and the unrealistic image and expectations for people’s appearance.
During the interview, Dr. Dugar shared his thoughts on the controversy surrounding AI-generated avatars and the new beauty standard it is creating. He stated that while the technology is certainly impressive, he believes that it’s important for people to be aware of the limitations and potential risks associated with using these avatars.
Dr. Dugar pointed out that AI-generated avatars may not always accurately represent a person’s face which can lead to misunderstandings and misinterpretations of beauty. He also expressed concerns about the patients using these avatars for inspiration and asking their plastic surgeons to look like avatars. There are unrealistic beauty standards that are getting popular for a surgeon like Dr. Dugar is very bizarre and impractical.
Dr. Dugar believes in natural beauty and these AI-generated cartoons are becoming the standard beauty which is scary. The perfect skin, no wrinkles, no skin texture, contoured and youthful face made of your face using AI is not realistic.
