This is an 18-year-old male who we showcase his only 1 week results right after his cast removal. Here you can see the typical bruising and swelling most of our patients have after 1 week. Most patients feel comfortable being back in public and socializing after 1 week. Because these photos were taken immediately after cast removal, you see lots of swelling still in the tip and bridge which subsides over several weeks. He came to us with concerns about his breathing, and feeling his nose was stronger than he liked. He felt the side profile especially was too strong for his liking and felt his nose was crooked from the front as well. Therefore through our closed Scarless Nose® Rhinoplasty technique, we shaved his dorsal hump and straightened his nose. He had excess tip projection, therefore we performed subtle tip deprojection with minimal rotation. He also had bulbous, undefined nasal tip; therefore, we performed refinement of the nasal tip (which takes weeks to months to begin to see the definition, but even at 1 week postop can see minimal improvement which is normal). He also had wide nasal bones therefore we performed narrowing of the nasal bones, which again settle very naturally after a couple of days after cast removal.
